A light golden tone that is naturally beautiful. Perfect to paint on wood that needs that little bit extra. This coating adds a glowing tint to revitalise old tired wood or add something to timber that needs a little help to shine.

High performance product with a quick drying time and good scuff resistance. Golden Oak offers a translucent satin-matt finish with good grain enhancement. Requires two to three coats and is suitable for smooth or rough timber.

Coverage: 1 Litre will cover approximately 8m²

Advice: It is recommended that 2-3 coats be applied. If 1 coat is to be applied for a translucent look, apply Royal Clear on top to produce a harder surface finish. Protek Royal is a high-build formulation so each extra coat increases the colour and sheen. If applying to bare timber a knotting agent should be used prior to application. When applied to floorboards a top coat of breathable polyurethane sealant or varnish should be applied to protect against heavy foot traffic.

This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn't treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use Protek's Wood Preserver first.
